I love weightlifting, cooking and baking, vintage shopping, spending hours curating a perfect skincare routine, americanos, traveling and spending time with my family. Over the past three years, I've grown as a Product Designer at DraftKings, where I've designed platform experiences across financial products, account management, responsible gaming, and marketing initiatives. Working on products that support millions of users has shown me how thoughtful systems, close collaboration, and attention to detail create meaningful customer experiences. My path into design wasn't traditional. I have a background in journalism, health and wellness, retail, and customer experience—all of which continue to shape the way I approach design. Those experiences taught me to ask better questions, listen closely, and advocate for the people using the products we build. As a Gen Z Latina working in the tech industry, I am inspired by my grandma, mom and sister, who have helped pave the way for me and encouraged me to pursue my passions - no matter how scary they might be. I am inspired to create more inclusion and representation in this space, as well as, use my point of view, lived experience and expertise to share a new perspective. I used to think that design was the type of career where I would be quite isolated, that it would be me and my ideas a majority of the time. Instead, I've found that the best work happens through collaboration. Whether partnering with product managers, engineers, researchers, or fellow designers, I've learned that the strongest ideas come from diverse perspectives and shared problem solving. I believe great design lies in our ability to work together and collaborate as a team. I believe great design stems from understanding people, why they do the things they do, make the decisions they make and what they value in their lives. And I absolutely love that.
